Refunds, Returns & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: September 2026
1. About this policy
This policy explains how cancellations, refunds and returns are handled when purchasing products from Mixture For Health Ltd through our website.
We sell water kefir drinks and vegan cakes for delivery and/or collection.
Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights as a consumer.
2. Contacting us about an order
If you have a problem with an order, please contact us as soon as possible:
Email: info@mixtureforhealth.com
Please provide your name, order details and a description of the issue. Where appropriate, photographs of damaged or incorrect products may help us deal with your request promptly.
3. Water kefir drinks
Water kefir is a food and may be perishable.
Because of the nature of food and drink, cancellation rights that normally apply to some online purchases may not apply to perishable products.
If you change your mind after purchasing water kefir, we may therefore be unable to accept a return or provide a refund once the order has been prepared or supplied.
However, this does not affect your legal rights if the product is:
- faulty or unsafe;
- damaged;
- not as described;
- incorrect; or
- otherwise not of satisfactory quality or fit for its intended purpose.
Where appropriate, we will offer a replacement, refund or other remedy in accordance with your legal rights.
4. Standard vegan cakes
For standard vegan cakes that are not made to a customer’s specific requirements, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel an order.
Whether an order can be cancelled will depend on how far preparation has progressed and whether the cake has already been prepared for collection or delivery.
Once preparation has begun, or the cake has been completed, we may not be able to accept cancellation.
Where a legal right to cancel applies, we will honour that right.
5. Custom and personalised cakes
Some cakes may be made specifically to a customer’s requirements, such as a particular design, size, decoration, flavour combination or personalised message.
Personalised or custom-made goods can be excluded from the normal change-of-mind cancellation right.
For this reason, once preparation of a custom or personalised cake has begun, cancellation may not be possible.
We will discuss the relevant order requirements and any applicable cancellation arrangements with you when the order is placed.
This does not affect your legal rights if the finished cake is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not meet the required standard.
6. Collection orders
If you choose to collect your order, please collect it at the agreed time or within the collection period provided with your order.
If you need to cancel or change a collection order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where the product has already been prepared, particularly where it is perishable or made specifically for you, we may not be able to accept cancellation.
7. Delivery orders
If your order is being delivered, please make sure that the delivery information you provide is accurate and that someone is available to receive the order where required.
If an order arrives:
- damaged;
- incorrect;
- incomplete;
- spoiled or otherwise unsuitable; or
- not as described,
please contact us as soon as possible so that we can investigate the problem and provide an appropriate remedy.
Food sold online must be safe when delivered and must be as described.
8. Refunds
Where we agree that you are entitled to a refund, we will normally refund the amount due using the original payment method.
The timing of a refund may depend on the payment provider used for the transaction.
We will not use this policy to restrict any refund or other remedy that you are legally entitled to receive.
9. Faulty, damaged or incorrect products
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this policy.
If a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not meet the requirements of consumer law, please contact us.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.
10. Changes to an order
If you need to change an order, such as the collection date, delivery details or cake requirements, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will try to accommodate reasonable changes, but changes may not be possible once preparation has begun.
For custom or personalised cakes, changes may also affect the price or whether the order can be fulfilled.
11. Our right to cancel an order
In exceptional circumstances, we may need to cancel an order, for example where a product is unavailable, we are unable to fulfil the order safely, or an issue occurs that prevents us from completing the order.
If we cancel an order after payment has been made, we will provide an appropriate refund.
